One World, One Health

Healthy ecosystems to safeguard wildlife and human health

One Health is an integrated approach that seeks to sustainably balance and optimise the health of people, animals and ecosystems, recognising that these three components are closely linked and interdependent (World Health Organization, 2021).

The Center for Research on Ecosystem and Wildlife Health (CREWH) is a private non-profit organisation dedicated to the research, assessment, monitoring and management of the effects of human activities on natural systems and wildlife populations through a One Health perspective, thereby contributing to the protection of human health, food security and ecosystem conservation.
